Welcome to Point Du Jour! Our French refurbishment project with Tom & Celeste……. Oh and my son in law Ben.
This is my little corner of the internet where I share and document my journey, travels, and the interesting things I come across along the way but most importantly Point Du Jour, our wonderful French home project…… and I do mean project.
For NEXA Solutions, I’m a contracts manager & business consultant with over 20 years of experience in business and the construction industry, specialising in streamlined procedures, processes, and project management and facilitating – particularly in MEPV and fit out (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and ventilation). I work with businesses of all sizes, from start-ups to large-scale operations, helping them streamline workflows, manage contracts, and handle staff training, I have recently become more involved in helping companies with business development, sales pipelines and estimating. I also assist businesses in distress, offering guidance to help them recover and grow.
But there’s more to life than just work. I’m in the process of creating a simpler, more fulfilling lifestyle – one that involves spending more time at our second home in France, growing my own vegetables, baking bread, and working remotely. I’ve always believed in the value of good food, good coffee, and the satisfaction of making things by hand, so I’m excited to share this journey with you and I navigate the next chapter of my life.
As I travel, I’ll be keeping an eye out for unique products, produce, and items that catch my interest – things I either bring home to the UK or find along the way. I hope to share these discoveries with you, whether it's a bag of the best coffee beans I can find or a rare spice from a local market.
Point Du Jour! is more than just a blog – it’s a growing community for those who enjoy refurbishments, good coffee, travel, interesting finds, and the pursuit of a simpler, more grounded life. I’d love for you to follow along and be part of the adventure.
Thanks for stopping by!
